What happens in the Consultation?

Before the Consultation:

An initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £90 is paid to secure your appointment. This is then deducted from the final price.
Consultation forms can be posted out with your skin tests (please do these asap and let us know if there are any problems, must be applied minimum of 48 hrs before treatment); forms must be read thoroughly, completed and brought with you to your consultation. You will also be given a pre read form with all information regarding do’s and dont’s before your procedure.

On the treatment day:

I draw the brow design in makeup  so you get an idea of shape and form.
I don’t use stencils I work with your own natural bone structure. Everyone is different and one eyebrow shape does not suit all.
I take a photo of you and your design and work with the symmetry of your brow making sure that when you are in a relaxed state, eyes closed, your brows are as even as possible. Everybody’s face has a different bone structure so sitting your brow where it is meant to be is so important and will be a bespoke design to you.
I use a Sterile micro-pigmentation handset/micro-blading tool and disposable blade/needle during your procedure.
I use EU Regulated Permanent Makeup high quality pigments, specially manufactured for Micro pigmentation.

How long does it last?

Depending on how well you look after your new semi permanent enhancement, your skin type, amount of uv exposure, brows should last for between 9-24 months.
A colour boost will be required after this time, to keep them looking on point; this is priced accordingly.

Does it Hurt?

No, not really. On a scale of 1-10, most clients report a discomfort of about a 3.
All procedures, other than microblading are pre-numbed.
At the beginning of your treatment you will feel a scratching feeling while I am doing my first pass and marking the shape and design of the brow with my hand tool.
A numbing cream is then applied which is absorbed into the skin within a few seconds.  Once the cream is absorbed very little feeling remains.

Aftercare: Touch Ups

You will need to return for your touch up treatment 6-12weeks after treatment.  To avoid additional charges please give a minimum of 48 hours for any cancelled appointments.
Everyone’s skin heals differently and most clients develop patchy areas or the appearance of fading after the first treatment.  It is important to understand that this is a two part process and the second, Touch Up Treatment will complete the procedure and, after healing, you will see the finished result.  PLEASE BE PATIENT AND DON’T PANIC!

AfterCare: Important Info

Follow your aftercare that has been given to you as it depends on your skin type but keeping your brows / eyeliner dry for TWO WEEKS IS ESSENTIAL.
About 1 hr after treatment wash the area with cool, boiled water.
Then again x 2 more times spaced in the next 12 hrs to remove lymph from the brow area .
Totally dry heal for 10 days.
Follow given advice from Elaine at your procedure.
50% of your new brow results are me and my skill, 50% is your body and skin and how you look after them with your aftercare.  One cannot work without the other for the best results.
Important Note:  Avoid Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline during your healing period.
Anything with a Petroleum or Vaseline base can cause a reaction and can cause crusting and scabbing.  We expect to see a little flaking but not scabbing.  Vaseline/Petroleum can also cause sweating as the skin is not able to breathe.

Aftercare during the 10 day healing period:

You will be given an aftercare sheet with guidance on how to care for your brows during the initial healing period, this includes:
No sun beds
No sweating in the gym
No makeup on the brow area
No anti ageing creams on the brow area..
Do not pick scabs if any appear.
Do not itch the brow area or pull the scabs away.
Leave your brow area alone and let them heal totally for at least 10 days.

Things To Remember When Having Semipermanent Brows!!!

1. Semipermanent makeup is healed in the skin , not makeup, Its longevity will be effected by uv rays, medication, hormone treatment, skin type, skincare routine, use of harsh exfoliant products/creams sometimes in alot of skin care .

Yes not applying makeup everyday to create a brow shape, but if your brow/ facial hair is really fair especially in the summer it will mask your new enhancement.

Brow maintenance i.e. Waxing and tinting is essential to keep your brows looking married together and fresh looking .

3. Brows should not need colour boosting for at least 9 months
They will fade as the months go on as it is semipermanent, but usually they only need a hd brow, wax and tint and Wow #browsonpoint again .

Please don’t go back into skin unnecessarily when this is suffice.

Sometimes it is necessary to colour boost more frequently if no hair is present as your semipermanent makeup is exposed to everyday uv rays etc much more than if you had more brow hair. Or if your skin is very oily .
Try and make it routine to use a sunblock through your brow especially in summer to protect your enhancement.
